I like Kampf a lot and think he would be ideal as the center of a shutdown line. He is never going to score more than 10 goals, though. - Elbows15
Me as well, Kampf is developing to be a solid shutdown center but his offensive limitations should slot him no higher than 4th line unless his single digit goal totals per season also come along with 40+ assists. Guessing at most a 20-25 point player which isn’t good enough for 3rd line. |

Gus is nothing more than a placeholder, why I believe Stan signed him to 2 years. By the end of next year or 2 years from now, one of Carlsson, Bovquist, Mitchell or Beaudin will take his minutes, in addition to a more experienced Joki. - LAHawk
Generally that’s what I think the plan may be. Roll with the likes of Gustafsson, Dahlstrom, Forsling, and Murphy today and for the next year or so then eventually replace them with the likes of Boqvist, Beaudin, Mitchell, and Carlsson. Not all at once but at least one new guy per season.
Even if some of those prospects don’t pan out, the depth is there to see if the likes of Krys, Hillman, Raddysh, and Galvas are any better.
Who knows, some of the current guys may excel and earn long term contracts. |

I would have to agree, Jokiharju is poised to be the future leader of the blueline maybe even pushing to earn the A on his jersey. He's a vocal player and demands a lot of himself and his teammates. - AEL_Fox
I could see Debrincat wearing the A too in a couple more years. |

On a lighter note,
I have a buddy that goes to the same gym as Tyler (Justin Lowe).
He let me in on a little secret. The pseudonym Justin Lowe did not come from the story he told us, although plausible and original.
It comes from his play list starring JLO...yep you heard it here first....

If bowman waits until TDL he might be able to get a 1st for AA i look at Buffalo they 3 1st round picks. So AA for a first, kruger 5th or 6th ward for 3rd kunitz 7th and saad and keith only trade if the hawks get exactly what they want if not then try again at the draft. - Scott1977
With all due respect Scott, AA is not getting a 1st rounder in return.
He is currently on the 4th line. |

Notice no one has suggested Toews should be stripped of the C or Keith stripped of the A... they're actually smarter then they're given credit for. |

For obvious reasons Taylor Raddysh from TB.
I'd like to see the Hawks trade Ward, Krueger, Kunitz, Forsling and Saad. I'd do a straight up Forsling for Raddysh trade but doubt TB would take on that project and i doubt his ceiling is much higher than what he's already shown. |

Valid point. I think they are having buyers remorse in regards to Nylander and that might be some of the other sticking points as well - Taylorst1
Shouldn't be pouting about the Nylander deal as it a good player in the fold. Just a tad out of touch with conditioning. |

Would be wishing but not really even a #2 for AA. Unless last minute deadline deal brings overpayment but never anyone would givec a #1
Oh i forgot Chiarelli and Tanner

A couple years ago or so Starbucks purposely mispelled customers first name. Had to get imaginative. It was a promotion for a few days
How about a certain Russian center on Blackhawks minus the both first letter "A."
Or else he gone. |
