Well for all the chastising of Victor Rask and the Nino trade, he certainly looks good at the face off dot. Only one game but he doesn't look nearly as terrible as Canes fans advertised. At this point he's a serviceable center man and the Wild needed a bonafied center. Can he score? Well i guess that is yet to be determined.

I can tell you one thing, his presence in one game was 10 times more noticeable than Nino has been so far this season.

Aberg looks like he might really have some scoring upside. I've been intrigued so far by his speed and his quick release on shots, as well as the heaviness of those shots. I think he's already fitting in quite well. Hopefully he can up his defensive play and score some goals at the same time.

THERE IS NOW A LOUIE BELPEDIO SITING!!! YES!!!

I've been calling for him for a while now. If Fenton is on the verge of actually blowing this whole thing up, might as well get some of the future up here and learning the NHL game. I didn't get to see all of the Columbus game, but LB didn't look out of place from the little that I saw.

Tonight's game is one that scares me though. Isn't Vegas based on speed? If so, I can see this game turning into a nightmare for the Wild, putting them even farther in the dumps as they head to Colorado. And my best guess is the Avs would definitely jump all over a down-trodden Wild team. So Wild will really have to bring their "A" game tonight, just to build a little more confidence to bring to Colorado.
