Todd curious to know why you’re thoughts on the Devils prospects not living up to expectations over the last few years.. do you think it is due to poor drafting, bad development or a mixture of both?

Interesting that Hynes went with Mueller - Santini on the 3rd pair. I'd think you'd want Yak with one of those two guys to provide some speed and puck handling. Just saying.

Also, it's odd that Boyle has been moved to wing and Kevin Rooney is centering the 4th line; but Zacha is always a center. At least he's on the third line now which is probably for the best.

Wild don't have roster spots for a package deal. They swapped players that are supposed to be 2nd line forwards. They don't want prospects or draft picks because they want to do well in the playoffs. There is nothing we could trade to meet their needs.

Agreed, Nino is a consistant 20+ goal scorer with size and grit. Rask has Noesen/Stafford quality production this year. Not horrible, but far from a top 6 player currently. Wild easily lost this trade.

oh yeah, trade is trash for them. Only thing that works out is that they save a little cap space so many they can make another move. No idea what they are thinking with this move.

Just started watching and see devils losing by 2 early. I guess that I should turn it back off

Hall, Nico, Palmieri and Coleman. That's it. That's all who should be absolutely safe from being traded. Everyone else is fair game.

I see Mac is now in on the tank too (He's still great though)
