And a 2020 7th! With all the busts talks we have, Luke Schenn is for sure one lol. |

Just found of funny that two ex Flyers are traded for each other.
Also Anaheim is just moving deck chairs. I don't think any of these trades are going to have a huge impact. |

For sure funny, but yeah Schenn has 8 games played and Del Zotto has 23 for this season. Seems like a pointless trade. I guess the 7th round pick was for the extra 15 games played lol

Flyers outshot 72-27. That’s insane that they won that. Great team effort. |

Can anyone make a case why Hart shouldn't at least split time with a veteran at this point? |

Good and bad news...
This team is capable of making a run
Bad news, see above.
Hart, I don’t think there is a case where Hart is not the #1. You could say, let him win it in LHV but even with that, Lyon has played well and deserves the net, plus it could help trade Lyon (minor) |

I agree. I think when Stolie comes back he goes to LV (not sure of his waiver situation though) and splits time with Lyon. They'll get good minutes there. When Elliott returns, he splits with Hart. I'm all for riding the hot goalie but I'd hate to overuse Hart this season.
Can't imagine Nuevy has any trade value based on injury history. Do we put him on waivers first if we have to potentially sneak Stolie through waivers?
Is it safer to just send Hart down and not expose Stolie?
Anyone know situation if we want to send Stolie to LV? |

Stolie and Elliot can be assigned temporary for conditioning which will by more time, but yes Stolie needs to be waived. But again with all his injuries I doubt anyone would pick him up.
Even if they do its one less decision we have to make next season. Now that Hart has transitioned we need Sandstrom over here getting AHL reps. |

Its pretty clear he belongs here. At this point as far as I am concerned he is the Flyers goalie regardless of who gets healthy.

Hard fought game last night. Hart was on fire again. When he fully develops, and the Flyers no longer have goalie issues, what will we have to complain about? |

Bad timing for the break, as usual |

Hart is the Flyer’s starter.
I have said since the summer, my unpopular opinion, I would like a Hart/Lyon tandem next season. If you need a little veteran security, you get one on a AHL/NHL deal and pair him with Sandstrom on the Phantoms.
Hart is about to get a nice break so I don’t think he is being overused. Lyon has been a bit...maybe a couple of conditioning stints by Elliott/Stolarz can spell him down the stretch. Maybe they waive Neuvy...if he is not picked up then he can backup Lyon.
I would have really liked Lyon to get more NHL games this season, but injuries happen and Hart earned the spot. I am not ready to give up on Lyon though.

Bill, what's the status and ETA for the return of Sam Morin? His nastiness is sorely missed. |

Not Bill but late Feb is the latest reports I heard since he will need a conditioning stint. |

If you're not playing Hart, you're not playing to win. I get there's back to backs so their is an exception.
Wasn't pretty but they got the job done. Halak was trash so that helped. |
