We're just going to have to ride out Zacha and see if he improves at all. I think some more time on the farm would help. It seems we might have screwed up his development a bit. But the flashes are encouraging that maybe he will be a useful player at some point.

Nico's been great. Not sure who's complaining but they're nuts.

Agree 100% about zacha. Some games he is one of the best players on the ice and can't but a point. Others he is awful. I hope they try him at wing before giving up on him. Center is alot of pressure, and he seems to have 1 awful giveaway each game. Maybe wing he can focus on offense. No one can argue he is a great penalty killer and defensive player.

I liked their jerseys too. In fact I called my two grandsons who were watching the first before bedtime. They are fascinated with everything about hockey right now. Great for Grampie!

Glad you like them. I grew up watching the Devils wear those colors. I suspect the retro colors are better then the originals. I suspect the red and green both got a little darker and deeper over the years....

I think Bratt has been invisible on the top line. You know when Palmieri & Nico are out there. You just don't notice Bratt with them. I think that is a big reason for Palmieri & Nico's production is a little down.

I totally agree with Zacha's assessment. When he is good he is really good. When he is bad it's really bad. From what I've seen with McLeod in Binghamton he really could be the answer. When he's on he is a ton of fun to watch. He's not bad if he's not having a great night either. McLeod's speed & passing ability is amazing. If he can put together a more consistent 2nd half & learn to shoot more I can totally see him over Zacha. Zacha might be the perfect 4th liner. Great Defense, he'll be fresher for the PK, & when he's having one of his good streaks all 4 lines will be rolling. If Duchene becomes a free agent we need to roll out the red carpet for him. He'd give us a legitimate dangerous 2nd line that we desperately need.

Coleman is by far my favorite player. The guy hits like a train, is probably the most consistent player we have, great on the PK, creates numerous short-handed chances, has 1 of the most team friendly contracts, and u can put him on any line or any position & still get consistent results. You can't ask for any more than that.

I don't think anybody would argue that Bratt is a first line player but with Hall out what else are you going to do.

Great read Todd. I think i've beatin the LJ and Zacha subjects to death, and Coleman certainly deserves to be next, only in a positive sense. The guy is a difference maker who goes in the dirty areas and wins. Been looking at some of our draft picks, and the 6th rounder from 2017, Aarne Talvitie has sure shown some promise! In the past decade, our 5th and 6th rounders have given our previous 4 rounds a serious run for their money. Aarne looked great for Finland, and put up 7 points in as many games, and has been doing great in Penn state. Vojtech Mozik has been shredding up the blue line in the KHL, doing much better than Yakovlev ever did (tho Yak fully deserves a spot on this roster). Starting to convince me that our 2nd's and 3rd's are far better used for trades as we did with Palms, Mueller, etc.

Bratt is far from a 1st liner..... Also, Huge shout out to Greene who has already matched his totals the past 3 seasons. 13 points. Guy is about too smash his consistant 13 points, -15 season totals. Might even crack the 20's this year

Yeah, that's why I said Bratt isn't a first line player.

MoJo in on the 1st line and Blackwood starting. Too bad. This was a good opportunity for a loss

No Hall and Mueller in with Lovejoy, we still got a shot at blowing this one.

Couturier, Konecny, Patrick, Ghost, Provorov, Sanheim. They have a lot of nice young pieces, so the future is probably real bright there, but for now it's a neck and neck poopshow.

I see what you're saying but it's hard to believe that the Flyers will do anything but squander their future.
