Why are they buyers? Holy crap that organization is an absolute mess.

As a flyers STH I would be absolutely pissed if they gave up roster players plus prospects and picks for Stone. I know Stone is good and I have been advocating an even swap of Voracek for Stone since the beginning of the season, but I wouldn't go beyond that.

Someone did a study a few years back. They didn't go rumor by rumor, but they looked at his accuracy in predicting a player to traded's destination.

The percentage was, I believe, 3% for a 30-team league, meaning that he was slightly less accurate than picking a team from a hat at random.

Why on earth would the Sens want pieces for this year??

Flyers could do a great deal for the benefit of the Sens. Hard to see how it works for the Flyers. Sens need to get a 1st round pick plus a prospect. No way the Flyers are ready to give up a possible lottery pick. And, most important, no salary coming back.

I think the Sens need to take a good offer for Stone if it comes. But, watching the game last night, it does not appear like Stone wants to go anywhere. Kids played a great game last night with Duchene, Chabot and Anderson out of line up. Stone is proving out to be an exceptional leader.
