Dem scouts wuz at the dallas-philly game last night.

I know this makes no sense, but the only player that makes any real sense to me is Spezza if the Pens are ready to part ways with Brass. Financially it would take some work though.
Or maybe even a return of Comeau? |

Nope. This is my first crack at fantasy and took me the first two weeks to figure out the best way to devise my lineups, so I'm probably not going to, but I keep climbing the standings in my own division.
That being said, my lineup this week has been a bust. Most of my top guys have been quiet. - Rinosaur

Simon at 750k for next year would be the reason I'd like to keep him. Like others have said he's pretty effective at moving up if necessary. When his salary goes up, I'd find the next guy that can fill that role.

Presumeably.
Not surprising. Rutherford and the Canes were trying to get Nash in 2012 but CBJ were demanding Skinner. |

Insanely well deserved. I highly doubt he'd win but I'd love to see him as a Norris finalist again. |

I love that he's recognized like that but would much rather him have the weekend off haha. He's been work-horsed and rest at home with the fam would pay dividends down the stretch. |

I think people overblow the extra rest guys get by not going to the ASG. These guys aren't actually playing meaningful hockey or practicing in a serious way. They're on vacation. |

I agree. The ASG is the equivalent of playing shinny on the weekends. Travel is the only poopty thing, but these guys do it in style. |

Dudes not at the ASG are on actual vacations and don't have to go do all the media event requirement stuff.

Yeah I dont think its physically exhausting at all but I do think there might be a mental toll to it. No way its as mentally relaxing/resting as at home. They have to do a lot of media crap and fan stuff plus the travel. |

Dallas has been good to us in trades. What does the EK fake rumor chart have them selling? - Guile
They have been rumored to be looking for someone who can hit and adds some toughness. I wonder if they are looking at Simmons from Philly? Or maybe Comeau which had been brought up. |

Havent been following his play at all the past few years but I really liked him in the bottom 6 when with the Pens. |

Yeah I get that its more strenuous than an actual vacation, but I don't think the ASG makes a big impact on guys getting worn out like a lot of people make it sound like. It's no where near Olympics. Its still much lighter than a regular weekend of NHL play. |

Just saw this. Pretty good deal for a competent backup. |
