A lot of work for the little bit of time you get on the ODR.

Kid will remember it forever though.

It seriously is a ton of work, we built it at the start of december and I've been trying to slowly build a base because its been so damn warm, but its worth it.

I hope you're charging a fair price for rink access and concessions.

I hate that Garland kid. He makes me think of Garland from Final Fantasy I. May he burn in Hell.

You jinxed us Tanner. Brad Richardson on IR now with week to week non descript injury.

Congrats on the rink. I am sure you and the kids will enjoy.

Nicerink is one of the best decisions I've made, so easy. Our weather is quite up and down here in QC also, so when it thawed in DEC...the pool of water just sat there, then it froze again.

approx 10:1 work:play ratio but yes, well worth it. our 5yr old is one of the only ones in his group doing crossovers and toe drags. I'm convinced it's because of the time on the rink.

I assume you're talking about Burke on Sportsnet commenting about the Leafs/Dubas

I found some old "Behind the Draft" Leafs youtube videos from around 2010. Burke is a complete fool.... From the players he liked, or was high on, vs the trades he thought he could make that other GM's scoffed at

example: In one sequence he was telling his war room that he told Chiarelli that he couldn't believe that he wouldn't give up the #8 overall for Kaberle

example 2: In numerous occasions he said his top 6 defense was probably the best in the League (Phaneuf, Kaberle, Schenn, Beauchemin, Komasarik and Finger)

example 3: Thought he could get Tavares at #3 overall "If things go the way we think they will" - Would have cost him Schenn and #7 overall (Kadri Pick) and he wouldn't do it because he wasn't going to give up Luke Schenn (future Norris winner and Captain Material - lolololol)

This was behind the scenes stuff, not typical Burke playing to the cameras

There is so so much more. I can't believe guys like that get jobs in hockey

Remember when Burkie traded #30 (Became Rickard Rakell) and #39 (became John Gibson) to move up to 22 to select Biggs? Man, those were the days.
