if teams are calling about Jesper Fast, let him to go to highest bidder

he'd be a smart pickup for a contender...

that's it y'all, that Bailey goal was final nail to the coffin to this season

this season ends real early this year

bottom line, we are the worst team in the league, the number of ROW wins says it and a bunch of shootout wins in October and November doesn't change it

- jimbro83

Yes, the Rangers having only 12 ROW wins in 43 games this season, along with outside of having one very hot 9-1-1 stretch, & playing otherwise to a horrible 8-18-6 record, (including 5-12-4 in their last 21 games), dictates the real and true picture here.
I believe they must retain Fast for his roles' contributions. It would be creating a similar role hole as done when forced to deal Hagelin in part and key in exchange for his roles' like, but failing young hopeful replacement named Emerson Etem. Hags' spot wasn't replaced sufficiently until their signing of Grabner, who ultimately was allowed him to walk away free last summer, with his loss contributing in part to their penalty killing woes of this season, while helping turn Arizona's PK to one of the NHL's best prior to suffering his horrible eye injury.
Besides Fast, they must also retain a leader type and goals producer in front of the net in Kreider, and come to terms soon with Hayes rather than deal him. Dealing Hayes would weaken this team further, starting offensively puck possession wise alone, and overall defensively especially on the PK and in oppositions' on ice match ups, resulting in even more shot attempts faced by Hank and Georgiev in net. Trading all three in exchange for only picks and prospects will also have an effect on the development of their younger players. It would also likely prevent any upcoming summers' top free agents from wanting to sign here long term if Cup contention sooner than later is their #1 goal.

If you still want Hayes traded, (frank) you, and I hope she cuts your testicles off.

that I dont believe

I still believe players will always want to play here no matter what.

The Rangers with a lot of available cap space with a lot of promising young prospects will be a desirable location.

Jesper Fast here or not doesn't change that, IMO

a good offer for him, he's gone

Shockingly I agree with Saver. If the Rangers are bad this year and next year, some UFAs might reject an on offer from the Rangers. But that won't last long.

Yeah Saver is spot on in his comment. Btw I don't see how a top free agent who want wants to chase for the cup would sign here. The prospect pool isn't going to win any quality-elite name over even after doing some homework which I doubt they do. Next the original roster with a weak center core won't help move the needle. Rangers fans were hyping Kolvalchuk as a for sure thing to sign here because of Buch and some other Russian prospects. Nobody wants to play babysitter unless if it's for names like Marner and Matthew's. This team doesn't have any of that or prime elite stars. The next best thing are your top 6 center's in Hayes and Zib. There are plenty of Jesper Fast in today's game.

I long for the days of the 5 on 3 being almost automatic with Jagr on that point.

If it wasn't for the pinball bouncing off of Zucc you guys would have scored 20 seconds into OT.

The Isles were 0-6 on the PP. They didn't deserve the win.

Bull s. H. I. T they outplayed and outworked the islanders deserved the win. Very good bounce back game except that pos Martin taking Claesson out for a couple of months at least!

Usually play better in front of the backup. Didn't miss Martin on the Isles, Boomer better give him crap about that hit.

Prettty cool Quinn benched our leading goal scorer the rest of the 2nd and he came out really good for the 3rd. Like the accountability
