I am not giving up anything for Glendening. I actually think the Flyers have that in house with Laughton. Maybe Vorobyev, Rubtsov, Varone.

I’m sorry, you’re right but this only adds to my point. It took career years from a handful of players to get into the playoffs last season.

The problem is, Voracek gets paid like an 85 point guy every season and doesn’t present 85 points every year. How often do you see 17 goals from a defenseman every season? Giroux saw 102 points last season, won nothing and will likely never see 102 points again in his career.

Giroux will 100% hit 100 again. Im sure he will go off at some point during the stretch. Could possibly hit 100 this season. I can guarantee he likely does next season. While yes we might have overacheived last season, I still believe we underacheived this season. I strongly believe we will see a much better team next season.

No system or line combo is going to cover up the fact that your top 2 defensemen have no pulse and your goalies can't stay healthy and/or stop a puck.

I believe the back and forth between positions could hurt any young player. Brayden Schenn was a perfect player but he was asked to split time between center and wing frequently. This is something I don’t want from Scott Laughton who was expected to be a much better defensive center coming out of his class.

Got a feeling Laughton is going to remain in the top 9 and actually don't have a problem with it considering how little the 4th line is used. I think using Schenn exclusively as a power forward was the miscalculation but if it helped him become a 70 point player then what did I know.

The Flyers making the Playoffs is nearly impossible, but I have a feeling Fletcher make pick up at least one quality Winger/Center before this season is over. I think they will trade Simmonds away, too.

In regards to the Flyers-Stars game--- I really liked the lines that Gordon put on the ice. A bit more balanced than before. I like seeing Lindblom not on the 4th line. He has too much offensive upside to waste on the 4th line.

The funniest thought popped in my head thinking about the people who are upset about "only" getting a 6th and a prospect for him.
