I know there are some of you who have a hate on for MacT, but I think we would be in a better spot had we let him continue being gm. I wouldnt hate it if he replaced Chia |

Here's to hoping that Katz wakes up and completely cleans house. On another note, the officials in the NHL are truly the worst in professional sports by a country mile. Why the NHL allows this travesty to continue without stepping in and demanding a complete overview of the review and vetting process for officials working in the league is beyond me.
Bettman is truly a one of a kind scumbag. |

I would hate it.....has some of this fanbase learned nothing? MacT the guy who thought Eakins would be a great coach or that Ference would add cup winning experience....traded Petry and signed Fayne and other failures for blueliners....how about we stop allowing former Oilers or members of team canada (minus Yzerman he is always welcomed) run this hockey team and let someone with a clue run this team properly? |

Yes the guy that "challenged" Dubnyk, traded our best Dman for scrap after not signing him long term, traded away so many picks for so little actual value, didn't draft well enough to compensate for the lack of picks and never got the team moving forward is who we want to come in and fix most of the same issues we had when he was hired (top heavy offense, young team, a few good young Dmen, uncertain goalie situation, etc). What could possibly go wrong? |

The failed Tkachev signing due to lack of the understanding of the CBA.....the firing of Kruger.....the way he handled Yak which started his free fall.....over hyping Jultz to the point that the kid had no chance from the beginning

"Manning, Korpikoski, Reinhart, Wideman, Spooner, Cammalleri, Jokinen... these all represent players targetted by this GM under the belief that they could help the team and every single one of the failed to come close to expectations."
Pretty sure nobody besides Chia Pet had any expectations for any of those players whatsoever. |

I so agree with you. There needs to be a proper system in place for suspending refs. Everyone else in the league needs to be accountable so why not the refs? If it wasn't for the terrible refereeing Tampa has gotten this year, they would have at least 5 extra wins. |

NFL is way worse for officiating. The definition of a catch is debated on a gamely/yearly basis. It's also true that its a harder game to manage since there are 11 on each side that need to be kept tabs on. |

Ok so this is your serious solution? Bring MacT back because he was “better” then Chia even tho his history clearly suggests he was a terrible GM himself? Here I thought Oiler fans wanted to start winning |
