He's a solid goalie but on an expiry contract and VERY unlikely he's coming back to CBJ. Reminds me of Hoffman situation - this may appear more repairable but if it's reached the media like this, I doubt this is something that just started; it's likely something that's been brewing |

It amazes me at what you will reach to in order to make up more and more BS

It's been a possibility all year long. There are rumors he is not getting along with the CBJ management, wants a very large deal at 30 years old the team probably won't give him, and his performance has not been good this year.
So trade rumors are very appropriate, the biggest sticking points to a trade are how many teams want to pay a ton of salary to a rental, he has a no-trade clause, and he's not been good this year.
At this point he likely finishes the season in Columbus and walks, but there is a chance he would welcome a trade. |
