Each game that goes by it's harder and harder to believe the kid is 19 yrs old. Kid is for real! - Mr Ricochet
He’s the future #1 d, I give him 2 years until he’s a force. Next year should be pretty good too. |

I can't remember the last shortie scored by the Blackhawks, great way to end the period! |

There are some things I like so far about Caligula. Speed (disruptive), darts, will play the body and I wonder if his energy will be infectious to his linemates. ........ Haven't seen enough of him either way as a Hawk. - Mr Ricochet
Agreed, he's Jack Skille 2.0 . On the bright side, he's saving us $750K in cap space over Manning. |

Nice break-up by Josi. Strome couldn't finish a bouncing puck. |

Why do they all seem to think that Kane needs to touch the puck before every shot, no matter how well covered he is?
Strome should have shot that initially - maybe get a rebound over to Kane with a better angle. |

Regardless of the outcome tonight, this team is clearly a better team than they were 5 weeks ago.
Finally a power play. Better scheme and personell. The age of insanity is finally over.
Have to be proud of the compete level with this group. they are fighting.

I thought the same thing. Shoot off the pads and clean-up the garbage.
Also the problem of a young kid playing with a superstar, if I had to guess. |

NBC guys said essentially the same thing. A few weeks ago people shaking their heads at how bad the Hawks had gotten. Now, they're giving some of the best teams in the NHL a tough battle. |

Like to see JC put Dcat with Kaner and Strome to finish the game. |

YES! That's where I'd like to see him play quite a few shifts. You see the chemistry (reminiscent of, if not quite like, Panarin/Kane) during the PPs.
ETA: Speaking of Panarin - Columbus pulling out all the stops - distillery offered him free vodka for life and Atkinson promises to pass to him more:

Yep, even when they lose it's usually a game worth watching. The past couple of years Q was letting that team take the night off on a regular basis. |

You can definitely get some good deals on great seats (as if the Hawks haven't made that perfectly clear to you already in 1000 emails and ads every break ) |

Hatman closed his hand on the puck, you plainly saw him drop it with his palms facing the ice. Really, what are the refs watching? |
