Carol Schram: Home sweet home for Vancouver Canucks after 3 prospects earn WJC medals After losing Elias Pettersson to injury and being shut out in their last two games on the road, the Vancouver Canucks will enjoy a light schedule and no travel for the rest of January as they return home after the World Junior Championship.

Hopefully Pettersson doesn't come back too soon, he'll screw up our draft position lol. Seriously though, the team is just more entertaining when he's in the lineup and they score at a much higher clip.

Well done Carol. Bottom line is that without Petey in and beyond Boeser we are super average/mediocre in the goal scoring dept. Even Boeser has looked 'off' lately. Horvat as well.

It is what it is hopefully Pettersson back soon and we can get some marquee talent back on the ice and make the games watchable.

Have to wonder if Marky can continue close to the level he had played in December? Want to see Demko get a chance to play and want the team to give him some run support when he plays.

I doubt it, it doesn't sound like he'll be gone long plus they're going to have to send someone down when Leivo comes back as well.

I can't cheer for the team to lose, even though we could use the high draft pick, just want to be entertained and hopefully JB gets a keeper wherever we pick.

Dahlen, according to Comet Cory, is aways a way, from being ready.
MacEwen has put in his time and should get the call before those 2.
I was actually thinking Gaudette. See how he is doing after getting some quality practises and icetime in.
Also, Granlund sucks, especially at centre.

I can't cheer to lose but dam Hughes would be a game changer. Even injured he was super dangerous in every shift. Great character in his inerview after their loss.
