It was great. More of these please. Not a Flyers fan but they're in a very interesting situation right now that every team faces at one point or another and they make a good study. Throw in the celebrity of Hextall and Quennville and it's become a story that I'm sure most of hockey is keeping an eye on, even up here in Edmonton.

What the hell are the flyers doing bringing a kid more specifically a goalie of that age up. That position has as much to do with confidance as skill. Risking destroying him. How selfish of the flyers! No wonder you are were you are. This should alarm flyers fans and alert them to bigger problems in the organization with upper management. Smacks of desperation to me. Really really bad and im sure smart flyers fans know it.

Every "hockey internet world" pundit with a Flyers connection is losing their mind over this call-up. But it makes all the sense in the world for people who look at details.

Hart took a little while to get up to speed in juniors. Then he killed it.

Hart took 5-6 games to catch up to the pace of the AHL. Now he's killing it! 4-1 in 5 games with a GAA under 2.00.

Give him a taste of the NHL so he can see the speed, get the excitement, see if he's a boy playing against men. If he gets shelled, well, he's been there before in juniors and the AHL. He'll know what he needs to do and he'll do it. The chances he's the Flyers' guy for the remainder of the year are slim to none. Neuvy will be back. And then they'll get an aging, solid goalie (maybe Howard or Quick) to play out his twilight years as the starter who gives way to the rising kid.
