Batherson has 8 points in 17 games this year. I was quite surprised. He looks like a good pick up for Ottawa.

That would be nice.
Our scouting in Europe and US has been adequate, the CHL scouting pretty bad.
It gets a little frustrating sometimes, watching World Juniors and Canucks have 1 or 2 prospects playing and teams like Ottawa, Islanders, Wings and Flyers always seem to have 4 or 5 playing.

I was going to chime in on this wonderful sh*t show but was laughing too hard.

I dont follow e-sports either, but its hard to ignore that its growing like crazy. Seems like every tv talkshow host is doing their best to try and interview any relevent streamer or gaming personality these days.

well they are all korean so I totally believe it lol

I'm ok passing on Tkachuk as he is a massive tool. Don't need that crap on the ice here anymore. OJ will be fine. No guarantees Tkachuk develops here the way he did in Calgary with our rosters/coaches the past 2/3 seasons either.

I wanted sergachev so badly that year. Knowing we couldve probably moved back and gotten him kind of sucks, but I agree i think OJ will be perfectly fine.

I'm just disappointed that it's an Overwatch team, games boring as hell to watch unless you play a lot.

In my humble opinion, Jim Benning is now a much better GM than when he first arrived here. I'm sure he thought he could change things in a hurry here, which he actually said, but he's come to the realization after four and half years on the job that it's not as easy as he'd thought.

Exactly. He's gotten better. He at this point has more good moves than bad IMO.

I doubt he overhauled the majority of the scouting staff. And I'm still not sold on the CHL staff judging by the picks we've made in that league since JB's arrival. It's basically the American scouts + EP that have saved them.


Hopefully someone like Jett Woo turns out to be a great pick.
