After such a good first period they look like absolute poop in the second. so much inconsistency.

Brassard back on the 1st line? Sully's move when you know he's desperate.

The way that puck bounced on the drop would kinda be the definition of an unfair drop. They usually whistle those down immediately and re drop it...odd play really.

I defend Oleksiak all the time, but it looks like he isn't skating. Is it just me, or is he not trying to skate to the puck and letting the other team beat him to it every time.

It almost looks like he is completely gassed.

Did Guentzal have a shift in the second half of the period?

I believe so. I think Brass on that line was only that shift.

It was at least a couple shifts. I could be wrong. Maybe just punishment for a couple of bad plays.

Good logic. Bench one of your best players for some poor play, but keep deploying one of the worst dmen in the league no matter what he does.

Does Simon play the left side? I can’t remember him over there at all.

He's a natural LW actually.

Not just that, but what has brassard done to move up to Sids line? Why not Pearson who's actually making plays or grant who's working his butt off? Brassard has been mailing it in so he gets rewarded?

Just looked at the stats....Brassard doing nada with 8:50 TOI, doesn't look good.

Strong with an A and 4 SOG. How has he looked?

Just trying to figure out why Brassard had a couple of shifts in Guentzal's spot.

Letang is the worst player in the NHL when the net is empty. The have a better chance scoring short handed than 6 on 5.

It never ceases to amaze me how bad they are every single time they pull the net.

Honestly it's sad. JJ doesnt even help us offensively or defensively. I would be ok with some of his defensive lapses if he was good offensively, but he isnt. Idk why they are pulling the goalie with 24 seconds left...just call it a game. I feel we are still a piece or 2 away from being good. I think benching or wavering JJ would be one move they should do, but JR doesnt have the Brass to do it
