If you can fit the greatest goal scorer of all time in your lineup you have to take him.
- Feds91Stammer

I changed it to Ovie over Domi.

Krug, Chabot, Burns, Josi, Rielly, MacAvoy on D.

Ryan, you lack FUNDAMENTAL writing skills!

It's COMPLEMENT; not compliment.

I mean Ovi is shooting way above his career shooting percentage but I just love the guy. Just an awesome player and awesome dude.

Through his five games he’s been a 47.2% possession player at 5v5. Relative to his teammates it is -7.32%. This is what we already kind of know about him. He’s not going to drive play....

This is news to me, I thought his sample size with Sid indicated he was a possession monster.

Geeze, were Ducks fans waiting for this blog to drop? Its only like 730am over there right now...

Anyways, another blog saying the team they're playing isnt very good...soooo...another loss?

Any team is capable of beating any other team on any given night in this league.

You have to get up EARLY to afford to live in this crazy state. They were trying to figure out how to tax text messages for Christ's sake! It's getting so bad the poopty weather everyone else goes through doesn't seem so bad now.

Pretty sure most of his blogs are speech to text with no proof reading. Hahaha I’ve noticed weird poop in his blogs before.

I was in the camp that we should have thrown Sprong to sink or swim in the top 9 for five or so games before giving up on him and still think he could be good, but just to make a point before the weeping and gnashing of teeth begin:

Other guys who lit the world on fire with goals in very small sample sizes after we let them go are Bobby Farnham and JSD. Both completely pooped out after their initial goal scoring run dried up. I don't think Sprong is definitely gonna bust out like those guys, but even if he sticks his production moving forward will be a lot less impressive than 3 goals in 5 games.

Never gave the kid a real shot in Pitts, and he was the lone prospect in your system for a couple years. Glad to see him doing well, and hopefully the D you traded for can crack the lineup soon.

Good news but man, I hope he's not hiding anything. Come back for one game and miss 20 after.

Peterssen seems to have the trust of the coaching staff. He's definitely an NHL defenseman, but I don't see anything more than bottom pairing potential out of him. Would be a decent pickup if we weren't already paying two bottom pairing defensemen a combined 6 million a year.

Not a huge Oleksiak fan but I think he's fine in a bottom pairing role. JJ has been grandfathered into a bottom pairing role. Nothing can be done about that one.

Woah Jesse Marshal just quote tweeted our line rushes and it looks like Johnson is headed to the box. Was on a fourth pairing with Chad.

He has been their worst d man by far.

Also keep an eye on some Petterson regression. He is getting propped up by a 107 PDO with PIT so far.

I honestly don't believe he would have done anything with a 5 game sink or swim opportunity. The kid looked so scared of making mistakes, he couldn't play the game using his strengths.

I don't know whether he'll ultimately become a good player, but in the one Anaheim game I saw, he was a different player. He looked pretty confident in all 3 zones. Never going to be a defensive star, but it would be dumb to expect that.

You know...I get it, the Flyers are a rival, or so you guys have thought for the last 30 years.

But this kid has the pedigree to be a star goalie. Even if it's for a rival team, you shouldn't take pleasure in any 20-year-old kid being ruined.

Did it drive me nuts than the Rangers have had a goalie as good as Lundqvis for the last 15 years? Yeah, but I wouldn't go back and hope that his career would be ruined because of it.

Hopefully his ceiling is higher than bottom pairing! Sprong has top 6 potential and was barely given a chance.
