TIOPS reporting CBJ may have interest in Brassard. They proposed Dubinsky (w/ money retained) and/or Duclair to Pittsburgh. I wouldn't be to upset with that type of trade. Dubinsky does still show that he has it and pending the money retained he could be a solid 3rd line winger/pk player for us going forward. Plus it would be great to see if Duclair could pair well on one of the 3 lines. Don't see it happening though.. |

I've always liked Dubinsky as a 3rd/4th line C. He plays the game hard and is abrasive but I wouldn't want to lose Brassard just to get him. I'd want a deal with Dubinsky/Jenner for Brassard + tbh |

There was a time that I wanted Dubinsky here but that was before the constant cheap shots on Sid. Eff him.
If Rutherford is making any deals, he needs a RHD.....the sooner the better. |

Fück Dubinsky. I wouldn’t trade Murray’s glove hand for that POS.
Thanks for the win Casey. If tanger is shut down for more than a month our goose is cooked.
17 games in the next month. Then the week off. That’ll be rough without Letang. |

Should be an easy win but guins will find a way to (frank) it up. |

So... tank for the #1 pick with Letang out? |

|

Ok but who do we trade the #1 pick for? |

Just like 2017 the Pens will find ways to win with Letang out of the lineup. And RW fill find charts telling us they aren’t really winning. |

I don't know if I can handle another run like 2017. Bleeding shots and scoring chances left and right was so damn stressful to watch. |

Well good thing its TIOPS saying that because Dubinsky is about three maybe four years out of being an actual good hockey player and that trade would be a mistake and a half. |

TIOPS has literally said none of this. They stated CBJ has approached the Pens about a forward.
EDIT: The did say CBJ may have approached them about a forward swap, not specifically Brass and NSH, COL, CBJ and WPG have been monitoring the Brass situation. |

Didn't we win the cup the year before last with out letang? And I believe there was something called a Ron Hainsy playing in his place.

Did they ever really leave? |

So... how stupidly overpriced would Duncan Keith be, and do we even 'want' him? Hes a lot more of a 2nd pairing Dman, and gotta be on the decline, but (frank) it... win now.
And yes, this would involve losing Maatta... I won't even humor the JJ on this. |

Im trying to be positive chump d!ck.
Would you rather I cry and say our season is over.
If our offense can get going like it was the first 10 games of the season I think we could our score the majority of the teams in the league. |

I’d 100% entertain a JJ for Keith swap if it were financially feasible. I’d way rather br stuck with Keith than JJ. |

Oh, don't get me wrong, I would nut if JR could pull that off. JJ + 1st round pick, and... an average prospect of ours, for Keith? Yep, I'd do that right away.
But, here is where I completely overthink this...
Assuming the Hawks are going to start selling off whatever they can to retool/rebuild, Keith is likely one of their first choices to go Age, contract, term... that is not what you keep during a rebuild. JJ, while (frank)ing terrible, is 2 mil less a year, so its an easier contract for them to just deal with during the rebuild from a cap/payroll level.
Now, the huge variable is figuring out what Keith is worth... he is still a solid mid pairing Dman (and when I pulled the charts, hes actually doing better this year in nearly all aspects than his last 2 years... odd), but decline is a massive factor at his age and the term. Do the Hawks and others view his deal as 1-2 years then hes a nonfactor, if so... does that cripple his value to JJ level? I damn well hope so, because then its JJ + a mid pick

Oh, no no. I wouldn’t add to get Keith. JJ straight up. It’s not a good enough trade for CHI, but I’m not selling futures for that contract. |
