Why Gudbranson or Sutter? They'll be over 30, slower, less good with the puck and probably more injury prone.

I beleive Dahlen, Hughes and OJ will all need protection. Stecher and Hutton will. If anyone on the farm today turns into anything they'll need protection as well.

Ya that's fair, I think Sven plays either wing too. I can't see them being able to deal him at this point and he's top6 only really. JV can and will play up and down the lineup. Don't get me wrong, I really like JV I just think when push comes to shove they like Baer in the top 6. Maybe he comes back and plays well enough for a deal to be possible. Dream big!

Button was a disaster in Calgary. Anyone claiming otherwise doesn't know how to wipe their ass.

His prospect analysis is "fine" but he's overly exciteable on a lot of players. 45th overall pick, undersized winger with some offence... "HE'S BASICALLY JOE SAKIC"

Every player is directly comparable to a HOFer in Button's eyes and I think he drinks the Koolaid that fans do about their own prospects. Throws out one or two contrarian takes a draft but can't stop himself from loving everyone.

Hopefully. He's bottom pair. His entire sample of top4 minutes from start to finish has been a tire fire with a couple blips of offence. Not suited to take on important d assignments, no reason think he ever will.

Hutton has played solid so far this season.
No rush pushing him out the door given what we have now & will have later on.
