I thought Gaudette played a strong game last night, he was hard to knock off the puck, fought hard along the boards, had jump in his step. Now lets hope for consistency, game after game.

It's funafter a win, how the tides change so quickly. Now the Canucks need a couple more wingers drafted and their good to go. The violent mood swings in here is what keeps me coming back everyday.

Hey I resemble that remark.

Playing youth in the top 6 i felt was a bit of a game changer. Roussel was the oldest player in the top 6. They looked fast. If the top 2 lines are contributing and the older players can contribute on the 2nd pp (like LE did), i am ok with that.

But yes. Our defense is really bad. Goaltending was good last night, but still mediocre/bad overall.

I hope that Bo EP Jake BB Roussel and Leivo stay in the top 6 all year but yeah we need upgrades almost everywhere . I think next year continue building on the back first.

Lets be realistic. The draft is in Vancouver this season. It has already been predetermined that we get Hughes. Book it.

"If Dahlen can keep this up, he should start the season in the NHL" Not a direct quote from you in the pre season but close enough.

Now onto he is a long ways off.

He's a lot closer than most think.

Canucks scouts were at the Mtl/ Ott game and the Flyers / CBJ game

Van with their limited prospects are right behind, probably ahead if Buffalo didn't have a generational prospect listed in their system.

It's quality over quantity. Something a Flyers fan has a really hard time understanding.

You saw in pre season what he was capable of. At this point in time, I don't think he has regressed at all. Pre season is just pre season but clearly evident that he had lots of skill. He said in an interview that they are working on the little things with him.

His defensive game and how hard he tries in all 3 zones. Grooming he to be a complete player. Unlike Goldy.

If you followed the Comets you would know he has a lot of things to work on with his D game. His game right now is the AHL versions of Goldobin.

Goldobin is 3rd in scoring on the team and in Van's top 6 regularly.

Thank goodness for EP huh?

Goldobin and Dahlen are not top 6 players right now. Just because they are better than Sven Granlund Gagner does not make them a top 6
