He did, but he didn't come out to start the second. There was no injury in the first, at least that anyone saw.

He did. Only played 6 mins though.

Hopefully he’s being held out because of the score.

Can't go wrong good ole Basil. Have you had Eagle Rare?
- Rinosaur

I have not. This is the first time I had basil too. I sat there for like a half hour lookin at bottles. Wanted to try something different than the trusty old 1792.

I always liked him actually. He's in BUF and was doing quite well last year, but I just looked him up and he's in IR.

Phil and Sid actually always look real good together, they just never get played together regularly ever since Johnston. Not quite sure why.

Basil is solid, especially for the price. Bullleit Rye or Boubon is pretty common now, but a solid go-to for me.

Eagle Rare is super good. Willett Rye is my favorite thing in the world, but it's pricey. I always have a bottle on hand, but I drink it slllooow.

It's crazy, there are like 1,000 kinds of "fancy" bourbons and ryes now. I went to Total Wine the other day and didn't know what to do lol

Very (frank)in good. I just love how when things get bad for minute, the Kessel rumors come out to play.

I'd like to see them try the Simon-Brass-Rust line again when everyone is healthy and keep Phil with Sid or Geno.

I'd say that was about market rate for someone like Bozak at the time.

EDIT: It was only a three year contract, too, so I think it was a pretty solid signing.

Yeah thats why I stood there for like a half hour. I'm like.. "is this good?" I usually pick things by how cool their labels are being a designer and all, but Basil was on sale. I like Bulleit. That's usually my go to at bars because it's pretty common.

I kind of understand wanting to spread the wealth, but if you're gonna give Phil to Geno, might as well let Sid get some sloppy seconds sometimes too.

I used to be a Sommelier, so I'm pretty snobby about wine and booze, but even I get annoyed at some of these newer bourbons because I don't know if I'm paying for the label and name. Yeah, Whistling Pig sounds good, but I don't know that I'm taking an $80 chance lol.

Willett is like $60 a bottle, so I usually make it last. I see all these $70+ bourbons I've never heard of and I just don't know. They'll have some weird blip like it won Gold Metal and the Kalamazoo Bourbon Festival like it means something lol.

Yeah but the issue is that there’s a narrative that they can’t play with each other, which is just untrue.

Pens better get those smelling salts out. They took a nap before the 3rd started.

They think the game is over. If the Isle's score another look out.

@j.boyd

Speaking of 1792, I don't know if you guys have Trader Joe's in the Burgh, but...

https://www.bourbonbanter...skey-review/#.XAnVchNKg6U

I snatch this up when they have it. Usually about $17.

Ya know, Pearson has really been quietly awesome on all areas of the ice since coming here.
