And I think we learned from this season that winning FO's is super overrated.

Looking at the Columbus roster, they really made a good deal picking up Seth Jones as their number 1D man and then drafting Dubois to replace Ryan Jo in 2016 as their #1 center.

The Panarin trade and letting Jack Johnson walk were both wins. I like how they are managed.

Young 1c and #1d are the key, but what happens with Bob and the goalie situation and Panarin next year are question marks.

This is where the Flyers should step in and say... Voracek is signed for 5 more years after this season. You have a hard time keeping star players that are UFA. Your going to lose Panarin. We will trade you Voracek and a mid-tier pick for a sign and trade of Panarin.

They get a Star player they can keep, we get a younger slightly better player.
