The period of the penalty kill.

Most of the penalty calls against the Flyers have been good calls. How can you let Anderson take an unlimited number of cross checks on Provorov around the net and then call Laughton for taking one on a player at center ice?

PK has been great. PP lousy and the Flyers are getting throttled at ES.

I think JvR and Simmonds just isn't working, the concept is good, but not enough pressure.

Since Lindblom been apart from NoPa both have been quiet.

He's a big guy, has fought in the AHL, but I am not sold he can handle the big boys in the NHL until he starts playing regularly.

I think JvR and Simmonds just isn't working, the concept is good, but not enough pressure.

Agreed! To me, both need set up men/playmakers. On their own, a bit too slow, and no creativity.

True. But give him some time and maturity, and that big boy can do some damage. Most guys 6’6 and above take a long time to fill out that size frame. He can already throw ‘em pretty well.

I was just looking to find accurate weight on Morin just now, closest I found was about +20 lbs from draft year. Curious to see what he had during injury. Chara is huge, but his biggest asset is he is 90% muscle from roman greco wrestling training. If Morin can fill out then he will be a beast.

Hence the need for skilled, quick, playmakers. Being on the same line just doesn’t make any sense to me. But hey, what the hell do I know?
