If Panarin signed an eight year 70 million dollar deal as part of the scenario, would you trade Jake, Sanheim, and one of the young forwards in the system that isn’t TK for him?

PK delivering at a higher level recently.
Some of that is goaltending but some of it is execution.

Better question would be: where the (frank) were they in October and November?

Ugh, hate giving up late goals like that. The Jackets have been taking to the Flyers the last 10 minutes or so. The Flyers need to get their feet moving.

No. I hold all of those players and offer that contract when he hits free agency as he isn’t signing with blue jackets

I did a lot of searching but I couldn't find Hextall saying the 2nd pick accelerated the rebuild. This was the closest I could find:

"This is a big point for our franchise. We're obviously going to get a very good player and hopefully in years, we'll look back on this as a turning point for us," Hextall said.

That is fair. The hypothetical idea being that he could potentially be dealt via similar sign and trade to another team since Columbus would be actively looking to recoup value on a bolting asset and would involve him in the process. Would it be plausible to sign him without moving Jake in a separate deal?

Unless it was for PR...Panarin pretty much said who he will play for or sign with. If your not on an ocean then that means that team isn't it.

Don’t hold me to this I’m guessing, but Depending on what our RFAs make (TK, Provy, Sanheim) and what Laughton signs for, if we moved Simmonds and the cap goes up the reported amount, I think we could afford both Jake and Panarin.
