Tho old enough to have seen the Cups, was to young to go and my Dad wasn't fronting the money for tickets. So I would have to say the Bates Penalty Shot! Great night!
but really my fondest memory at the old barn was coaching my kids midget team and standing behind the same bench that al arbour did. thinking about all the great players that sat there. i almost cried. every time i walk into that building for any reason, hockey or concert, i felt something special. and it was all because of the islanders. i've been to about 12 arena's for hockey games. not one was better to view a game. they should build the seating at Belmont just like it.
My best memories of the barn was being a kid between 18 and 22 attending the game with his buddies. You didn't need to break the bank to park the car and get a decent ticket in the top sections. Really great age to get hooked on attending a live game, unlike watching it on TV.

Grew up an Isles fan in the 70's and early 80's but unfortunately my Dad would never take me to the games (2 hour ride from NJ), so I never saw a hockey game there.
I do have fond memories of seeing the Grateful Dead, Dio, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica at the Coliseum though
Lou needs to call up Ho Sang or Bellows to balance his top 3 lines or make a trade for a forward cause Kuhnhackl is not a top 9 player he is a 4th liner at best. This guy should not be on the 2nd line with Barzal.

i was conceived when they won the cup in 83, was there as a kid when they retired #31, #22, #5, #19, and later on when satan scored the game winner against the penguins and they raised up the al arbour banner in 2007. looking forward to taking the lady there this spring.
