They're the 4th youngest team. 4/31. That's pretty young, comparatively speaking.

On the site I found, only Colorado, Carolina and Edmonton are younger.

Here is the average age of every club as the puck drops on the 2018-19 campaign.

If you read my post I said it was true on puck drop of the first game. Since then Weber is in, Schlemko is in, Chaput and Dagostino were called up. De la Rose is out, Scherback is out, Juulsen is injured, Mete is in Laval.

The team they ice last couple of games isn't young.

No. They're very, very old. Average age is likely around 52.

Can they stop saying the habs are a young team?

You have Kotkaniemi, the rest are at least in their third pro year. The team was young on game one but now you have 4 D over 30, the goalie, replaced Hudon with Chaput or Agostino.

It's a veteran team with one rookie

- Fredo

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Fred.

The forward core is very young with Drouin, Domi, Lehkonen, Kotkaniemi leading the way.... all of these guys are 23 or younger. Gallagher at 26 is one of the oldest "core" forward we have. Hell I'm not sure we even have a forward who's over 30. Replacing Hudon because he's not finding his role on the team by grinding forwards doesn't change that.

We do have an older defense when we ice Schlemko and Benn... but we all know this is very temporary as Juulsen, Mete, Ouellet, Reilly are here for the longer term.

Aside from Price and Weber, every other important/valuable player is young.

Is that supposed to be old?

I still view him as having more relevance going forward than Benn or Schlemko, real or not.

Hains: Strong Start, Strong Finish

On Sunday against the Sharks, the Habs looked asleep when the puck dropped...Yesterday, they came to play a full 60 minutes and got what they deserved, a big 2 points.

Well after the first goal they fell asleep for about 5 minutes, and some brain farts along the way, but for the most part I agree..

You dont think so? Weber will be 35 by then still carrying a 7.6 million dollar cap hit, Seattle would probably pass...
