To your last point, he says that a lot, especially when something big does happen.

What we haven’t seen is his accurate shot - he could put it where he wanted it to go on net. Recently, he wasn’t getting to his spots, and he was missing the net more than usual, or shooting it low into the goalie.

He had yet to learn how to adjust when opponents take away his preferred positions.

He does tend to miss, maybe trying to be too fine from ambitious angles, but 28 goals as a rook and 11 so far this young season. He should adjust and score as he has prolifically in 3 seasons at Erie and in 1 and 1/4 with the Hawks.

Bowman should be reminded that they need to have a major run just to get to .500.

Add new head and assistant coaches on the bench mid-season and the confusion on the ice becomes more understandable.

I'll agree with you here to a point on some top top d potential in the pipeline, but I'm not sure of their physical toughness like a Manson. I'm not opposed to Saad but only saying that to get a bad ass like Manson I'd have to think hard about that exchange.
