Suzuki and Brook invited to Team Canada's selection camp for WJC. Joel Teasdale not on the list. #Habs - Symba007
Should be an interesting WJC this year, with Suzuki and Brook for Canada, Poehling, Primeau for USA, Olofsson for Sweden, Romanov for Russia and Ylonen for Finland. |

Brandon Smillie: Canadiens Split Weekend Double Header But Deserve Much Better... - Brandon Smillie
i don't see how Montreal deserved better last night. they trailed for 57 minutes. and for 50 of those minutes trailed by 2 goals. not to mention San Jose is not a good hockey team, and they're on a cross-continent road trip playing their second game in 24 hours. i don't think Montreal necessarily played badly last night but they certainly deserved no better than what they got. |

Agreed on mostly everything, but I don't think SJ is a bad team. I say watch them in the 2nd half !
Good D, good Offense, good goalie, no reason for them not to turn this around |

Hmmm, not sure about the Sharks though, been a playoffs teams for a decade. Their top 6: Pavelski, Couture, Kane, Thornton, Hertl, Meier. Top 3 D: Burns, Karlsson and Vlasic. And they have a legit starter in Jones. Talent wise they are a very good hockey team IMHO. |

Well this year he's been more on the "lose a guy on waiver" side of things.
It was obvious Scherbak was gonna get picked off, why not trade him for a pick? - Scabeh
because nobody wanted to trade for an AHL player with a terrible attitude. |

The Price hate can get annoying but when you’re the goalie, you’re the last line of defense against the worst in the universe (yeah i just quoted Men in Black lol) and you know that. If you give a bad goal, people WILL talk, it’s even that way in amateur leagues or in school leagues and that’s normal. Takes a special kind of character to be a goaltender and not a bad goal mess with your head. Yesterday, Price absolutely should have stopped the first goal and that’s on him. Criticism is warranted BUT it should also be said that he did not let that bad goal haunt him and did well for the rest of the game.
As for deserving better? I’m afraid I disagree, if you wait 15 minutes before starting to play you will get burn and you deserve that. This is the NHL anything else than 60 minutes of effort should give you a big fat nothing.
Petry did score last night but that was overshadowed by a few brain cramps’ his game always worsens when Weber comes back...it’s just strange. |

maybe there's hate from some corners but i think it's mostly just recognizing what he is at this point in his career.

There's always the good old "Batcave"...
That's where while going at it from behind, you pick up a homemade Bat Signal (made in advance out of construction paper and a flashlight), and shine it on the wall in front of your partner. When she (sorry, Pete) asks what the heck that light is, you yell out, "The Bat Signal! To the Bat Cave!" and promptly ram it in her brown eye. |
