It sucks this has dragged out and Willy isn't signed already, but you really need to calm yourself and not take it so personally.

I still think he's just been following the bad advice of a greedy agent with a history of dragging contracts out and a father with a history of being a greedy hired gun himself. Hopefully Dubas can get the better of those two and resolve this in the Leafs' favor.

Willy is a great young player that will make this team better when he's playing again. If he gets traded instead for assets, I really hope we can get a fair return, but if he's signed and kept (at a decent price), I'll be happy and welcome him back while quickly trying to forget about this whole dispute.

Got a high-risk high-reward goalie (I think Lehner could become a decent goalie for them - and they might get Bobrovskiy off-season)
Filppula 1 year deal.
Komarov deal arguably mediocre to bad.
Matt Martin meh - with more icetime Martin is an ok fourth liner.
other UFA deals not that bad - it's really the Komarov deal which is a bit of a head scratcher, but it's really not thát bad (considering the state the team was in).

His biggest test will be how he deals with Barzal and Lee new contracts, and whether he can get Bobrovskiy and/or Panarin coming off-season.
