How about William's brother, Alexander?

Do you have an offer in mind?

If it takes Dumba to get William Nylander, I am against it. As much as I think Nylander would help the Wild offensively, I think Dumba is the much more highly talented player. I believe this would be a bad trade for the Wild. I would much rather it be Spurgeon over Dumba.

Now, on the flip side, yes, I would LOVE to see William Nylander in a Wild sweater in the next 2 weeks. Send Spurgeon, Hendricks, Dante Salituro and a 3rd Rd pick. Ya, I know...keep smoking whatever it is I am smoking.

But I do think something needs to be done. I friend was blaming Dumba for 2 (if not all 3) goals scored by the Sabers last night. And I told him that you can't win too many games only scoring 1 goal. We all know Koivu is slow of foot, but Staal is starting to look that way this year as well. Last week I was starting to think that maybe the Wild could do something in the playoffs this year. Then I got to start off this week in reality. Simply put, the Wild need to get younger, and getting Nylander would be a big step in the right direction.

The Wild have needed to shake up the veteran core for the past 3 years now. Changing GM's obviously didn't do anything, changing coaches boosted just a little, but at the end of the day it comes down to the guys on the ice. There is only so much the coaches and managers can do before you have to realize that the workers are not working well. Koivu should not have received the contract he did, all the core players should have had a fire lit under their butts with threats of trade, and the young up and coming players should have all been placed under harsh off season training to get them ready for the season if they want to make the team. To much slack has been given, time to pull the belt off and get to work.

Tweaterben, you're hired! I need you to talk to some of my co-workers like this. Bring along a baseball bat as well...just as a prop.
