Why the (frank) would the Habs give up an asset for an injury prone player that cant compete in the NHL anymore? Especially in a year of transition where they are suppose to be tanking they already have 10 picks in next years draft and will be looking to add more towards the draft, not giving away assets for washed up plugs. This coming just after they terminated Plekys contract who is better than Eaves

I mean all this Ek guy has to do is go into the Sabres blogs for one, to actually steal the insider info that occasionally gets posted there and two, realize that his "sources" (see: his brain) are full of crap.
Why the F would the Sabres want Eaves? It's just so random. They already have 2 players similar to him in Berglund and Sobotka, whom they traded for this summer, not to mention a younger version in Zemgus Girgensons.
You're better than this, Ek.
I hope this trade happens just so you can say I told you so, and I will eat my words if it does.
