I understood but that was my not so subtle way of bringing up One Piece, since you've probably finally read the latest chapter.

Hey, bite your tongue! Kessel has never lost a fight.

He even broke Brian "The Human Punching Bag" Flynn's nose.

Canada post and postal workers seem far apart on a deal. They should just shut up and sign a deal. No way theyre worth anything close to what they're asking.

McKenzie: Here’s where it gets really difficult for teams acquiring William Nylander is the financial aspect of it and trying to sign him. Because he's not signing at the beginning of the season, and he signed later, there's a divergent way of how the cap is calculated. Courtesy of our friends at Capfriendly.com, if the Leafs were to do a six-year deal at $7 million cap hit today Nov.13, his year one hit would be $8.7 million, years two through six. $6.7 million. You see can on Nov. 30, the day before the deadline, $9.6 million on a $7 million AAV and the $6.6 million. The Leafs love that scenario, that works for them. Let’s say they do a three-year bridge deal. Well there you go. Today, the first year would be $5.9 million on a $5 million cap hit, but then it gets lesser after that. Same thing, same principle at work on Nov.30. This is a scenario that works to the Leafs’ advantage in a big, big way. But almost all of the other teams that are interested in William Nylander, those big cap hit numbers in year one, that takes a lot of teams out of the trade talk right away. They can’t afford an accelerated cap hit in year one, even if it drops below the AAV in years two through six or years two and three.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I read Mirtle's article at The Athletic.

You'd have to think that they would've played out all these scenarios, and maybe this is the final deal they'll offer to "front load" it this year.

Montour would just be a start for Willy - Leafs need a decent backup and RM is more than that signed to a very friendly mil a yr, however I don't know is he has a no movement. So BM and RM and pick and prospect for Willy and a 3rd.

could Steel be a possible addition to the deal?

Have you read either of World Trigger or The Breaker? Both stories have been on hiatus for 2+ years. But they're finally back! World Trigger is back already and The Breaker will be back in March.

Wouldn’t shock me. It’s one way of paying nylander frontloading him for this year and telling him in Switzerland this is how we do it. Yup and media and blight will go nuts with speculation. Wouldn’t that be something they sign nylander on 20th and give him 9 million this year and following 6 years 6.75
Equals $7.07 million aav

How many current stories do you read?

The Breaker isn't a manga. It's a manhwa. It's Korean.

And it's stupidly amazing. At a certain point, reading it week to week is tedious, but reading it in bulk is well worth it.

Most of what WSJ has. It’s been so long since I last read one, that I don’t remember all of the titles.

I highly doubt he sits.

It’s bad for the Leafs

It’s bad for Nylander

It’s bad for Nylanders agent

It’s bad for Dubas

It’s a collosal failure and I would put money on it not happening. The very least they sign a bridge.

- Santo_44

even just a 1 year deal makes more sense for everyone than sitting a year

nylander won't make more money next year by sitting this year. leafs won't go as far in the playoffs without nylander. both sides need this.
