Anthony Travalgia: Defending Tuukka Rask The Bruins have given Tuukka Rask a leave of absence to tend to a personal matter.

Tukka has not seemed anything close to himself all season so this does make sense.

This team has been such a let down this year. It is pretty close to a dumpster fire as you can get and last night was a complete embarrassment. Lots of time to turn things around however.

Overall I’m just not seeing it being a contender. The contracts of Rask, Backes and to some extent Krejci are suffocating the teams ability to round out the team. The 1st lines contracts are all exceptional so that softens the blow a bit.

Here's hoping that whatever is going on in Tuukka's personal life, that he and his family are alright.

Like it or not those salaries and jobs we wish we had come with the baggage of dealing with gaybos on the social media’s.

I can't help but feel that this is all my fault.
I've wished some terrible things on him since the Flyers series.
At least he didn't get hit by a bus leaving the rink, or wasn't shot into the sun by the causeway crowd.
That would have been too coincidental.
Get right soon Tuukka.

Hopefully (this isn't coming out right) his personal issues are a cause for what's going on on the ice.

That said, if he wants a change there's an opening in STL.

I've heard rumors that this is related to alcoholism.
If true, its good that hes getting help. Give him the time he needs to get back to form

Whatever the issue is I wish Rask the best, seems like a really good guy.

Normally in this situation you give a condolence gift of a baked ham, well unfortunately I don't have one so you can have this instead:

No need for anything in return, just please accept it.

Is this real? I’ve heard it mentioned a couple times but nothing credible. Alcohol would explain some things
