There comes a time when your body just can't do things that it used to, and goalchie is the most physical position in the game.

Frank you, Trashie.

Dudes been hit by the puck 15500 times in the regular season alone over his career.

That's an awful lot of rubber.

For reference, Marty Brodeur only faced 13428 more shots than Price has, but played just shy of 700 more games.

Yeah, I wonder what the (frank) that's about.

He was doing fine on the 4th line before getting injured...

They're talking about a contract termination... maybe he's injured more severely than we thought.

- Scabeh

Glad lou wasted a 2nd on him last season.

He's 31 and has missed quite a bit of time with injuries.
- BINGO!

True, maybe hes falling apart.
I mean, from a leafs standpoint...that would be great if he did breakdown and suck for the next 9 years

On the bright side, 10 million in 8 years is probably only going to account for about 10% of the salary cap.

He signed the contract as a 35+er, so the Habs won't get any cap relief.

Makes you wonder why they are doing this.

Why not just demote him and make him not report? Tell him to keep in shape, just in case they need to call him up for the playoffs?

Or ask him to go down to (wherever in the frank your farm club is now) and get him to work with the kids for 6 months?

what the (frank) is wrong with people.

That was not goaltender interference last night on Anderson. The Vegas guy never moves towards him, Anderson initiates the contact.

Is it necessary that the Sens embarrass themselves every day now?

- Aetherial

Yeah, I said the same thing last night when it happened.

Completely Anderson's doing.

Is someone complaining about it?

Does that still apply in the case of mutual agreement terminating the contract? Because that seems to be the case here.

Habs have around 6.5M cap space anyway so I doubt that's the issue... unless we're suddently trading for Jamie Benn or something.

I was looking at the CBA, and came across my favourite new clause:

34.12 Locker Room Quality/Shower Supplies.

Clubs are to provide professional quality shower supplies/products to home and visiting team Players. Clubs are to provide high quality bath towels to Players, to be replaced on as needed basis.

So at least we know that's not what is holding up the Nylander talks.

Good question. I'm pretty sure I franked up here.

This will not be a buyout - this will be a mutual termination of contract.

I'm pretty sure (but not 100% positive) that this means no cap hit.

I'll screw around with the CBA a bit more and try to get an answer.
