Door swings both ways . Canucks were the template for giving up soft goals.

They swept the Bruins. At some point you have to just give them credit.

I expected losses from the Bruins and Avs but they didn't

I’m happily surprised by the results. I’m encouraged by the play of several players. But I’m not ready to go all Tiny Jump because they scored 8 when most of those goals wouldn’t have been scored against a quality opponent. Halak/Rask were Lack quality last night.

I don’t expect the team will suddenly go into some nose dive, but I do expect that the goal scoring will normalize. You shouldn’t win a game when you give up 5...

Well holy hell that was fun to watch last night, Boston goaltending was soooo bad but it looked soooo good on them lol. Some of those goals and defensive coverage on both sides were just awful, but hey, it was entertaining!!!

I have no idea how the Canucks are scoring goals like this with guys who aren't skilled players, but whatever they're doin, it's working. Pettersson only had one assist last night.

Canucks are the new Vegas

There was more in the story. He is afraid for himself and his family. He wasn’t expecting that many passengers (7), he was afraid that if he got in an accident insurance would not cover him because of how many passengers he was carrying, but they were high paid professional athletes so he caved. He only just put the camera in a couple weeks before, he posted to show other Uber drivers the dangers of driving an Uber.

He’s spinning it to try and just fade back into the fabric of society.

Ah, okay, ya that makes more sense then. Definitely spinning it – an idiot any which way.

Yotes, Sharks and Oil all lost last night. They combined for the same amount of goals as the Canucks.

This team is reminding me of the movie Major League

Sorano = Guddy
Wild Thing=Jake
Willy Mayes Hayes = Elias Pettersson
Dorn = Eriksson
Jake Taylor =Bo
Lou Brown =Green and Benning

All giving everyone a collective FU

I love the scene where Vaughn shows up for Spring training and the coach just goes "Look at this FAWKING guy"

If anything I hope Benning realizes they can live without a few of those guys and he uses them to acquire picks in the upcoming draft. I'm not sure they can sustain this, third worst goals against in the league and I'm really sure this mega scoring will stop at some point.

But if it doesn't, I'll be amazed and happy at the same time.

Trade Edler absolutely. He has value and even last season it was obvious we could survive without him.... but Tanev was tough to lose. There is endless smaller pieces to move.

I agree on the goal scoring and goals against. No one thinks 8 goals is sustainable and I expect to lose some goal production regardless but lets be honest here... defensive specialists Sutter, Beagle and Nilly available to give Markstrom a break here and there and I'd expect the goals against to clean up.

Scoring buckets of goals and giving up almost as many. That was success for the Leafs in many of your Leaf discussions.
