It is Nov 9 th so what is stopping them from doing this in January?

The league is getting younger and teams like Chi LA SJ Minn Ana are getting older.
Maybe Canucks are not as bad as everyone expected.

I figured we'd improve 4-5 spots but nothing like this. 2nd overall in league scoring?

WTF over...

I noticed in the preseason when everyone was crapping on the team they were getting chances but couldn't score. We were in most of the games but couldn't finish.

May as well enjoy one game at a time and worry about January when it gets here.

the only pick we need to worry about is the 1 we get
GMJB will find us a gem no matter where, have faith and believe these games are building a solid foundation to go forward on

if you were to say we would be where we are 2 months ago , you would have been ridiculed and called names , now we are 2nd in scoring and playing through injury as a team, maybe some should risk some disappointment and possible heartbreak and believe in this bunch

I'm going to enjoy your emotional breakdown the most.

One of the things I like about TG is he genuinely seems to enjoy hockey. After the last couple high-scoring low-defense games — while most coaches lament the structure of the game — he seems to actually be pretty happy and upbeat and find them fun.

I bet he wouldn't find them fun if they were loses. He clearly can't believe that they keep winning, like all of us except for Tiny Jump.

“The Uber driver who recorded several Ottawa Senators badmouthing a coach during a road-trip in Phoenix and posted the video online told the Ottawa Citizen it was “the dumbest decision” of his life.
“I was not in the right state of mind,” said James Sparklin of his decision to post the video, who added that he’s been fired from driving after two and a half years. He told the Citizen he was intoxicated when he originally posted the video.”

Now he’s playing a victim card to try and escape public ridicule.

You pick the Canucks to give up buckets of goals and lose before every game.

Got what he deserved. 99% he sold that video for profit not only is it good he got fired he should be sued as well.

People also forget that the Canucks finished strong at the end of the season. It didnt fit the narrative so it was removed.

This team is reminding me of the movie Major League

Sorano = Guddy
Wild Thing=Jake
Willy Mayes Hayes = Elias Pettersson
Dorn = Eriksson
Jake Taylor =Bo
Lou Brown =Green and Benning

All giving everyone a collective FU

lol reverse psychology! When I predict a loss they win and then they'll blow two goal leads to teams like Detroit

You have to admit when I predicted a 7-6 score wasn't far off.

He posted it on youtube for free and took it down after only 50 hits but the Citizen already got wind of it. I never heard of him selling it.

Not sure how’s he playing he victim here...? Said it was a dumb decision on his part, didn’t blame anyone else (from the quote you gave at least.)

Agree with him though it was a terrible decision. Deserved to be fired.

Just watched the highlights:

1. TSN broadcaster slipped up and almost called them Canoooooks
2. 8 goals is nice and all, but some of those were some pretty poopty goals. Boston goaltending was really really bad last night.

Door swings both ways . Canucks were the template for giving up soft goals.

They swept the Bruins. At some point you have to just give them credit.

I expected losses from the Bruins and Avs but they didn't

There was more in the story. He is afraid for himself and his family. He wasn’t expecting that many passengers (7), he was afraid that if he got in an accident insurance would not cover him because of how many passengers he was carrying, but they were high paid professional athletes so he caved. He only just put the camera in a couple weeks before, he posted to show other Uber drivers the dangers of driving an Uber.

He’s spinning it to try and just fade back into the fabric of society.
