This is all much ado about nothing... aside from the possible privacy legal ramifications.

You're probably pretty naive or just plain dumb if you don't think this kind of stuff goes on in every team sport. I'm sure there are little cliques on every team that get together and bash other players, coaches, ownership, fans etc...

This is human nature and plain and simple just the world we live in. Why anyone should be surprised by this kind of behind the scenes goings on is puzzling...

People like gossip and people love dishing dirt and talking behind their spouse, friends, relatives backs. Not saying it's right, just saying we all either do it, or have done it.

Players gripe about coaches daily. One of the coaches is always the fink. The huge issue to me is the posting of it to social media.Having said that there is no such thing as privacy in public.

it's recording a conversation between two people, like when the FBI wiretaps the phone of a mob guy. the wiretapper has gotten permission to do this and therefore can legally be the only "one" that knows it's happening.

I mean sure.....if you ignore important things like how they’ve played and the stats, then sure Kot has been better. But if you look at those things, then no contest over who’s been better.

I'd love to see a source for this and, even if that is the case, you can't really consider the person doing the taping to be the "one person" that consents to the recording.

Not sure about Arizona law, but Missouri has the 1 person knowledge and it can be the person recording. Guy was doing Uber in St Louis and live streaming everything to Twitch without passengers "consent", he had a very small barely seen sticker saying they were recorded but that technically was not needed. Granted Uber and Lyft fired the guy and Twitch took down his stream after a news article was published on him.

They don't. It's in the terms that you may be recorded, and by agreeing to the terms, you're agreeing to be recorded. If you don't want to be recorded don't take an Uber or other ride sharing service, even taxis.

Some states have one party laws, where only one party to a conversation needs to be aware, and if you're the one recording your conversation that's all you need for it to be legal. Some states are two party, where all parties to a conversation have to be aware and give permission to be recorded, that's why whenever you call customer service and it says "calls may be monitored or recorded..." and by not hanging up you give tacit permission to be recorded.

He ripped into one of his assistant coaches (Martin Raymond), saying that his coaching style for the p.k. is brutal and he hasn't paid attention in practice for the last 3 weeks.

I always thought he was a classy player but he seems like a punk.

The takeaway confirms what most of us thought in the first place, that these are spoiled rich kids that have no respect for the game, their fellow players, their coaches or their teams and certainly not the fans.
It's pretty disgusting that we pay hard earned money to watch these punks.
