KK is a little slow for OT. Kid has tons of talent but he still needs to improve his skating.

Disagree. He isn't too slow to score a goal, or set one up.

Game against NYI he got stuck in his own zone in OT, Cloode probably noticed that and that's why he didn't play him last night.

They've lost seven straight games that have ended in OT. Tell me - what's to lose?

also even though they are 2-0 in a shootout, they are generally at a disadvantage in those situations.

Often times, a good goalie is a plus in shootouts.

I agree with you, I'd play the kid. Even though he's a little slow he's got great hands and vision.

This is why they should keep Niemi, even when he eventually retires, he could stay as a shootout goalie

When we play Buffalo, the game should start at 2-0, to account for at least one goal each that Skinner/Pommer will score.

Hudon is at his natural spot on the 4th line for now. He generates more energy there. He was useless with Drouin and Domi and even hurt his own team with turnovers.

Don't disagree. But the team is running out of forwards...

Rumour that Pittsburgh is shopping Daniel Sprong...could be an interesting addition to the Habs.

No guarantee Shaw won't have symptoms from that hit with his history.

Scherbak must be recalled saturday or put on waivers, but his conditionning stint has been pretty bad. Caught some virus on top of it.

That pinch was brutal. He hesitated way too long, and then still went in and was way too late. And really, while Price has to make that save on the game winner, if Lehkonen isn't going to score, at least hit the net. Same time, Reilly needs to get it to him quicker. Shall we also ask why Peca, Lehkonen and Reilly are on the ice in OT?
- hscesq

Peca can skate, and he has some skills. I don't think it was very fair for him to be stapled on a "sandpaper" line. He's not that kind of player.

when 2/3 of the line is Peca/Hudon, that's not a sandpaper line. that's just a regular 4th line.

Throw Scherbak in there and there could be some usefulness.

when he was with Shaw and Deslauriers, it was a sandpaper line

putting Hudon there changed the line, yes, and for the better.
