I’m not getting involved in this poopstorm of an argument, but maybe it would help to get Elias involved with Zacha’s development. I think Zacha has skills but hasn’t transitioned to the nhl game well.

Even in the OHL, Zacha was known for his two way game, yet lack of offensive touch. I think he ceiling is 3rd line C, with pk responsibilities. Hopefully he proves me wrong and starts putting up some numbers.

perhaps I've been too hard on Zacha, though I stand by him looking flat more often than not, which I don't understand for a 21y/o kid. But I digress. He's 10 games into his 3rd season. Even though he's had opportunities with Hall and Palmieri, he's still 19, 20, 21y/o, with just 2 full seasons. Idk why I thought he already played three. It's concerning he doesn't play with more drive, but from a numbers perspective I'll give him this year. There are plenty of players that take a few full seasons before they find their game. Gotta hope he follows that trend.

There’s nothing wrong with him spending some time in the Bing. It helped Larsson and plenty of guys who were rushed into the NHL.

oh I'm all for it. anything that'll improve his play.

Out of any player I have ever seen with a big shot and not use it Zacha has to have the biggest shot of them all and for whatever reason never uses it, wether it be he cant get himself into the right positions or what but he has a cannon and it was well known in jr his numbers supposedly lacked in jr because ofnhis transition he only played like 2 years in the O and they where riddled with injuries and suspensions.
