Gotta get Couturier off the power play, he doesn't belong there.

Watched two periods before I fell asleep but they looked a whole lot better out there. Good win, boys!

Agreed. There are a plethora of better options on this team than having 3Couturier out there on the power play. What a joke.

Definitely the most fun game I’ve seen in a while. they still can’t seem to put it together for a full 60 minute, and did their best to blow it at the end, but, it was much better.

I was all for giving Weal a shot, and I still don't think the book is 100% closed on him.
But if he's not contributing offensively and is prone to taking penalties, I'd rather his minutes go to someone else.

What, you want to put faith and trust into a young player? Please, unless you're a slow-skating veteran, you're not given that opportunity.

@ Matchett, I thought Weal had a solid game, that whole third long had a good game in my opinion. Might not have gotten a goal but spent the majority of there shifts in Anaheim's end. (Did not see third though, maybe a rough period)

He played well, just took another weak stick infraction. Has to cut that out quick.

PP should've been killed off until the Flyers players ignored their PK coach and decided themselves to not put any pressure on Fowler while he got himself a free shot from 15 feet away. by one of their "top" PK forwards too

I didn't watch 1 second of the game (I was up past the start, but I am boycotting the games). And I know that the process is viewed as more important than the result by a lot of people. But, to me, much like Briere, his tangible production has to outweigh his shortcomings or he's a net negative to the team. If he's not putting up and goals and assists and is putting his team shorthanded rather frequently, he doesn't have enough other assets to bring to the table to justify a spot.

Agreed, he obviously isn't coaching them to be passive like that and give the opponents time and space. It's clear that every single PK unit the past 4 seasons is ignoring what they're told to do.

Also, even though it was deflected, I think Elliott should have made that save,

As hard as it is for me to say this, he has actually been pretty consistently solid so far this season.

This is true, and it can only help the team if he is playing well.

Its about time.
