That's what happens when you put the puck at the net. The Hawks have passed up more shots than they've taken. Way too much playing for pretty plays again.
And defenseman missing the net all night so no rebounds. BAD night for all.
Move on. Kruger and Kunitz out.....Kampf and Martinsen in.

Can't win a faceoff. Can't complete a pass. Can't win a board battle. Lose the game. Pretty simple formula.

If the Hawks have a bad game from 2, 7, 28 they just don't have the talent to overcome all the mistakes 56, 23 and 44 make, 7 with a bad game tonight was to much for them to win.

Refs are even unfair when we fight.

I'll never understand the tactic of pulling the goalie early for a team who sucks so badly at the PP.

How long before we see Forsling, if he sucks you can send him back down, but i can't imagine he's any worse than 44 or 23.

I was going to comment on the faceoffs. Nobody won one it looked like. 7-3. Touchdown to a field goal.

Whoever asked it, Ward tomorrow. Don't blame Crow, but it's just the reality. He was shakier this game since being back, I have to admit.

tonight the bad hawks showed up..

1. many unforced errors and scrambling around their own net.
2. craw out of sorts
3. 4 of the 5 (not counting the ENetter) were within 5 feet of the net and 3 ended up being tap ins
4. no offensive push at all tonight other than #88 magic

the hawks just lose to many draws on special teams; cost them possession on the pp and clears on the pk...

Really sloppy game. I say it over and over and it's been the case for years - if the Hawks are having a poor passing night they almost always lose the game. They need to pass well because they can't win physical match ups.

They even did the push em back entry when it was 6 on 5.

Other than the Kane and Anisimov connection there wasn't much to feel good about tonight. With Q benching Rutta for the 3rd period I hope that means that he's seen enough of 44. I don't know if Forsling is going to be any good but the sooner he comes up and get a shot - the better.

I was trying to find something to like about Kunitz tonight but it was hard. That line had a couple good shifts early but I really don't see the point of playing him; 13th forward / locker room guy at best.
