hopefully today reality has sunk in.

If the Devil's top line has been among the top NHL lines we should keep them together and figure out a way to bring in some help in the bottom 9. And really the issue is in the middle 6 as we have had a decent 4th line.

Trading for a solid middle 6 guy or two shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm not completely sold on KK as a starter and Eddie Lack is a bad backup. So this team needs Cory; but if Cory can re-establish himself as an elite guy and bring in enough of a return then it's worth considering. He's 32 and his value is unlikely to increase.....

Just saw a prospect update for the Devils. Xavier Bernard looks pretty promising so far. Might just be 2 defensive studs on the way.

Cory has had two below average season while dealing with a significant injury.
KK is 3 years younger then Schneider.

Lets see how it plays out... but if Shero can work a good trade that's great. I doubt anyone wants Rooney.

Corey has very little value now. He's going to have to show his game is back for at least 10-15 games before any team would even consider trading for him. Even at that, not sure we would get too much.

I think KK is due to come back to earth and we will need Corey to reclaim the #1 spot if we have any hope of making the playoffs.

It was no secret not everyone is going to come out blazing & sustain the first 4 game crazy margins. There are more things to be excited about than not.

The tale of two losses. We were clearly out played in the 1st period but we weathered the storm by another great performance by Kinkaid. We capitalized on a PP opportunity, clanged a couple off the posts, & ended the first 1-0. A couple inches difference with the pucks off the posts and we could've been up by 3. That would have demoralized Colorado. The 2nd & 3rd period was a fairly even matchup between 2 good teams. Had we not had Noesen take out Greene behind the net we probably go to OT. Great game. Zajac could've made the difference. We didn't find a way to win

Philadelphia game was just Gross!! The passing was terrible, we didn't move our feet well up against the boards, we didn't win the battles to the puck, we we're terrible on faceoffs, & somehow we were still 3 minutes from overtime. To play that bad and still be close to winning the game is very promising.

Can't wait for Zajac & Bratt to get back. Quenneville & Zacha need more confidence in the offensive zone. Very excited to see big bad Gryba take the I'm. Can't even begin to say how happy I am that Zajac doesn't need surgery & will be back soon
