These are the softest penalty calls. Every game is just going to be power play after power play.

It's time for Noesen to sit. He's trying to do way too much and just makes dumb passes all the time.

am I the only one that feels like Zacha always looks one stride slower than the next guy, and that the stride could be easily made by more effort? I keep trying to love his game, but he's always just so close but so far away..

How long is the requirement before we can call him a BUST? Guy brings nothing to the team, no scoring, no defense, no faceoffs, thank you lou for one last gift wasting the 6th pick on this stiff. Time to cut bait, try and find a sucker to take him much like they did with adam larsson.

He's not terrible, he's just not making much of a difference. I know we're playing poorly, but the loss of Zajac seems to have more of a negative impact than what I would imagine the loss of Zacha, and I think that says something.
I'm willing to give Zacha all the time he needs, honestly. There are so so many players that have substantial jumps in points after a few seasons. Sometimes that's due to NHL experience, or sometimes it's guys that are in the AHL and then come in at age 24 or 25 and are perennial 50-60 point players. Zacha is frustrating because I feel like if you put freaking Stephen Gionta's brain in Zacha's body, you'd have a 60 point center..

Our 1st and 2nd line centers are 19 and 21 respectively. Young players are still learning and need to find consistency. Zacha has had good and bad games this year and it's going to be that way. Nico is having a rough game today too and pretty much the entire team isn't playing well.

that was just a terrible game all around. Kinkaid was good again though, I'll give him that. Glad they have 5 days until the next game.
Do we know more about Zajac's injury?

Kinkaid played really well again. Vatanen and Severson played really well too. The rest of the team just looked really flat out there.

Our problem is that Butch is being sheltered when he should be exposed with serious TOI. He excelled last season and we need to push the 23 year old to the next step. Also, Greene has shown plenty cause for concern. He can't handle big minutes and should really be bottom pairing. Only issue is Mueller is looking like the #4 guy (after Vats/Butch/Sev), and I have been impressed, but don't know if he is a true top 4 D man. That really needs to be addressed if we want to compete every night. Hope to see Dea back in the lineup as well.
