Can't sustain anything. Get in the zone, one extra pass and the Yotes clear it every damn time.

Yeah, we're on the pp ...

I haven't checked, but it feels like Kane hasn't gotten a shot on the goalie tonight. I'd like to see Q go Nuclear and swap Kane and Kahun right now.

At home, with Crow returning after a year long injury....Kunitz finally a scratch after that play??

Hawks have no scoring on lines 3+4 and the only guy who can score on line 2 is Kane. As they say, Water will find its level...

4-1. Vinnie, I hate him and his 2 goal night.

Typical playing down to the level. Thank God for Crow!

Had a feeling the first regulation loss would be against the yotes.

Need to put Anisimov with Kane, and drop Schmaltz to line 3 to try and drive some offense in the bottom 6.

The Hawks typically play poorly after a long layoff, this isn’t surprising. The Yotes score 0 5 on 5 goals in 5 games then unload on the Hawks for 4 in one game.

The Hawks finally showing their true colors tonight.

Problems much deeper than that. No amount of shuffling will work when only four of your twelve forwards can score goals.

This is a borderline NHL/AHL team that will not see many of these rookies get good enough any time soon, or at all.

I know long layoffs sucks, they always do that. It's just that it's against the yotes makes it sting more. In regulation.

I want some Q b lander now, just not the top line.

Kunitz and Fortin can sit. Kunitz has done nothing so far and while Fortin is fast if he isn’t getting breakaways he is not making anything happen. Too many plays die in the offensive zone on his stick. Manning can sit and let’s see what we have in Davidson before Forsling returns.

The Hawks can't win when they pass as poorly as they did tonight - both in making an accurate pass and in receiving the pass cleanly. They also are terrible at handling the puck when an opposing player is close to them, such as being able to pick the puck off the boards cleanly. They have to be one of the worst teams at picking a pass off the boards - they usually don't pick it cleanly and then the opposing player is on top of them which usually means the puck stays in the d-zone.

If there one thing they should practice a lot - it's picking the puck off the boards. Time after time in each game the Hawks player has time to make a play but can't pick the puck off the boards and it ends up being a scramble or turnover.

What they really need to do is stop wrapping passes along the boards in the D-Zone. Too many of them are panicked passes to just get rid of it.

Gotta give a tip of the cap to the Arizona defense and goaltending. Hawks were their best tonight but still had chances. They didn't manage to put those chances in, but that is the way it goes sometimes.

Fortin played better than Schmaltz who did absolutely nothing tonight except lose faceoffs and pass up open shots and drives to the net. And what did Saad do tonight? Nothing.

And maybe he’ll shoot some and not look for Kane on every (frank)ing rush.

Raanta is always lights out. D was good, you just have to love Hammer. But it's easy to stop a pass first team

Especially because the opposing player usually meets the Hawks player at the puck before the Hawks player can make a play which turns into a one on one board battle which the physically weaker Hawks player usually loses.

Ex Hawks best them tonight in Raanta and Hinostroza. I’m sure Panarin is looking forward to Saturday as Saad rots on line 4 producing no offense.

Will be a gut check this weekend playing two elite teams on the road after laying an egg at home against the lowly Yotes[/img]
