Wheat beers aren't mine either as i -as a sportsman- rarely drink alcohol, but when i do then a good wine or "Apfelkorn" (=apple corn, a grog).

Italy is indeed a very lovely country and designated holiday destination with a lot sunshine, good food (+wine) and beautiful passionate girls... and a lot of emotions when it comes to sports (soccer, Ferrari). What cities/areas have you been to?

I spent the 2016-2017 academic year in Bologna for the first year of my grad program, so I've been all over, except I didn't go south of Rome. I decided to prioritize seeing other parts of Europe because in my mind I felt like I could see whatever part of Italy I wanted on any given day if I felt like getting on a train, but ended up not really taking many day trips, which was a real shame. I was a 15 minute train ride from Parma for an entire year and didn't go once...

We honeymooned in Bavaria during Oktoberfest. The beer was amazing, the wine was great, food was awesome. Loved the region! Italy and Croatia are next on our list.

On to the Pens....its a coaching problem IMO. its so early in the season that you can give Sprong a lot of slack to prove himself. Its pretty easy how to put the lines on this team but Sully won't do it.

I dont like to assume a prospect is going to be any good or that i know more than the people watching him every day, but you gotta give kids a chance.

Based on what we've seen of the defense thus far I'm thinking Thursday will end up being something like 8-2 Leafs...I just have no faith in the D right now.

Is Ruw in the press box now right?

He is but he's not the answer either. He was really bad in the pre season and hasn't played in 3 weeks.

The team just isn't working hard IMO. Any team on any given night can win but this Pens squad is still a top team on paper. They just think they can half ass it and still win. They should have been able to dominate that team.

I wasn't saying he was...but I'm hoping/wishing that they can find a spark somewhere. The team looks incredibly flat again, aside from Jake, Letang & Phil.

Definitely betting the Over on the Pens/Leafs game.

Letang has been really good this year so far. Besides Jake and Phil being able to cash in on their opportunities I think almost all the forwards have been meh.

Lotsa people giving Hags poop but's going every shift, skating hard and chasing pucks down. I'm glad he scored last night. He earned that goal.

It'll be the Hawks all over again if they come out like last night.

Pens big guns need to step up; they haven’t aside from Phil.

If there was an empty cage I think Sid would hit the post right now. Nothings going in for him. Phil and Jake have made the most of their chances but neither has been outstanding.

Sid looks good, but doesn’t look confident shooting. Horn, Rust and Geno need to start putting it in.

I really think Brassard on Sid's line is messing them up a bit. They're taking turns on strong side draws and there seems to be some issues positionally. That line had it's looks but it was sloppy.

Also, same as last year, Sid is having to come down really low in the defensive zone to support the D. He's behind the play a lot when it breaks up ice. He's not getting passes in stride because of it.

I couldn't tell from the feed, but who was the pen who went for a line change in OT which created the 3 on 2?

I know this intention and feeling all too well!

The single comment you gave about the fantasy game was pretty much spot on btw., maybe i can still make playoffs after a longer than thought learning experience (week1: too much Pens with too less games, week2: no Kane/Marchand/Burns but Subban, week3: absolut cold streak...)... guess a lot players are already afraid landing on my roster, which basically means a week-long cold streak... those that i scratched {re-}started to produce immediately.

not that it would have made a huge difference on the outcome, but a bit of a lazy change..

He headed to the bench, hesitated and skated back into the play, then turned around and went off.

boeser and the other forward were already on the 2 on 1 when sid was behind, and when he changed, it more-so made the play a 3 on 2, so it really wasn't that impactful on the play, but still, seemed like a bit of a lazy change.

Kessel has 8 points in 5 games and was held pointless in one game. Guentzel has goals in 3 of his 5 games for a total of 4 goals. How are they not outstanding?

It is possible to score in a game and not play great. Those 2 have made the most of their chances. Neither is playing all that great IMO.
