Leafs were / are the far better team. With those weapons up front, they don’t need too many quality chances to bury the opposition

Matthews is on another level right now

The Capitals need to remind Lars Eller-Gretzky that he's a 30 year old 3rd liner who's never hit the 20 goal mark once in his career. Teams don't like having to pay the freight for a teammates mouth when that player doesn't have the parts to back up his own hype.

I expected a higher scoring game considering the teams involved, but it was nice to see the Leafs and Andersen actually keep a team to only 2.

A good game by two exciting teams.

Caps laid down in the 3rd. Started 8-1 outshot that period. Then they tilted the ice at the end but it was too late. Gotta remember playing all these "Playoff" teams like Leafs, pens etc early down a man.. no Willy. Caps at full strength with Willy too.., I dont care how much media slurp off Leafs caps are a notch better still. Better down the middle and Willy back knocking fools loose who think ice is free. Caps still got a leg up
