Put my vote down that JJ was a putz sometimes - not always, but every now and then his skin got a little thin and some of the regulars would enjoy taking him to task which usually escalated the putz factor rather quickly - especially with some of the "usual suspects". I never had a problem a problem with JJ but then I never got into with him, mainly because there were no shortage of guys willing and able to do so.

Any of you guys remember Tim Sassones Daily Herald blog. That one got pretty crazy toward the end. The Jeff Shantz guy was off the wall.

Tbf, it totally looked like a young Drew Carey. I even said that and told him how that could be construed as a compliment "Young Drew Carey", but he wasn't having any of it. Touchy.

I have a blog coming out tomorrow AM.

While some (and most here tonight) didn't agree with him all the time, he still put a lot of work into his time here. It's a huge commitment (and trust me its little to no extra $$ for the Lowe household) so let's put it to rest and revel in the Hawks 3-0-2 start.

It started in July, 2014, after several bans (I had one too from Eli - don’t even remember the cause) - things escalated rather quickly in here before that - we were all still friendly with Eli at an Ice Hog game the previous March.

Still going strong.

OHT (obligatory hockey talk) - nice start at 3-0-2=8 but remember- that’s only one point better than last year’s 3-1-1=7.

Trying to block out last year but this one has a bit of a different feel to it, mostly because Toews has been playing like his old self again.

Haven't checked the Atheltic or Herald but wonder if Crawford is still slated for a Thursday return.
