Can you guys please stop scoring so many goals? Or at least give everyone else a 2 goal head start?
Yours Truly,
Every other fan in the league - RickJames77
We tried that on Tuesday against Dallas. Still didn’t help them.
Maybe 3 goal headstart? |

Sox are over-rated.
They only won 35 more games than the Blue Jays this year.
That's less than two more wins per week! |

A "shutdown" (obviously not an elite one) of Kapanen-Kadri-Brown would be an interesting thought. Though for the purpose of spreading around the offense, it would be nice for Kadri to have a skilled winger. - AdamFrench
Teams are still matching hard on Matthews' line, which has affected possession, but not goals, because Matthews.
And secondary matchups are seeing Tavares' line, which we'll see more of with deeper teams.
But that leaves an option of having a 3rd line that can score while not also being a total liability, i.e. Bozak JVR Marner with the goals/soft matchups, but not being a disaster defensively either.
I'd rather keep Kapanen up top, as he still has an untapped offensive potential and is no slouch defensively.
Nylander's a better player, but his vision/playmaking is really needed to make that 3rd line be a real threat vs. a shutdown line. |

I guess it was Chicago and not Dallas.
It’s a weird feeling though when Toronto gets scored on first, because you really aren’t nervous. Previous years it was just over. |

Its a big record.
That no one knew about or cared about....until now.
Means absolutely nothing.
But, its cool to see and watch these guys rack up points.
It wont last at this pace and its been against bottom tier teams....but fack its been fun.
The D though...hum |

12 points in 5 games is ridiculous.
It must be awesome seeing all these great players doing so well on your team.
But yeah, it's more a random fact than an actual "Bobby Orr record". |

Fine, I concede. Rielly didn't break any records.

Bobby Orr never had 12 points in 5 games.
