They are winning 4-1 but this is still not a good game for them. Knights just can't make them pay. - Thorny87
Pens are not going for the throat as per usual. I can't stand when they pull this poop. |

Yup. It's not the greatest game by the Pens. Vegas has won a ton of races and battles. They're such a hard working team. DeSmith has given them the breathing room to get things going. He's made the big saves when needed. Exactly the opposite of what Murray did in the Habs game. |

This is exactly the script when you not to lose. Bad penalties late in the game. |

Where's the "I don't want to overreact but we should probably trade Phil Kessel" guy at? |

I don't think they're playing "not to lose", I just don't think they're playing all that well. That being said, nice PK. |

The Pens played a collective and aggressive 2nd period. As soon as the third started they didn't not play with any attack. |

DeSmith should get 2nd or 3rd star IMO. |

Missed most of the game due to a church social. I can see the box score, but how'd we look? Particularly the Johnson-Schultz pairing since that might be the second pairing we're moving forward with? |

Ovie and Kuznetzov did me no good tonight. NJ clobbering the caps. |

That pair had an ugly game to start and pretty much an ugly game stats-wise, BUT, individually JJ looks very good IMO. |

Nice to only let in 2, I like that. Alot of positives tonight but still a fair amount of bone headed decisions being made.
Caps are being slaughtered this eve, wow.

That wasn't the response I was looking for from them. Could chalk it up to having 4 days off but most of the same issues were there. They're not attacking they just kind of floating around. |

That was NHL quality goaltending...2 against...big saves at key times and well the ability to catch a puck is a bonus. |

Anyone seen the Soderberg goal for the Avs. Looks like 2 Sabres players interfering with each other...... |

Carlsnarl Söderberg has an acceptable start into his season (his last two were more or less a bigger disappointment). Also good for Sabres getting back to reality, that win-record talk after they have gone 2-1 was a little funny.

Leading now 5.5pts (where i thought it could and should be 20+ after the day), i really hoped at least one of my guys WOULD... but those are always the others. And hell, why are there no games today? |

301-245 for me. Got another big day Saturday your time. Boeser finally showed up. Caps players didn't hurt me too bad. |

Im up 369-278...but having said that I was losing all last week until after Saturday night. Just like other formats of fantasy hockey, the Saturday in the week can change everything because there's so many teams in action. |

100% Bubba. My opponent has a few of the same players as I do so it will be hard but it's very possible. He has Marchand & I don't, so I bet the rat screws me over! |

Anyone else really like what they saw from Sprong last night? He was one of the positives for me. I think the kid is gonna stick. Of course in saying that, consistency is the hardest thing in the NHL, he's young and doesnt have as slack a leash as the vets. |

Well done boys, yet you both seem to have some comfortable divisions, in mine the average is currently ~340pts. But ok, in the end its qualifying for playoffs (wildcard) and then hopefully anything can happen... my wish-opponent for first round: Feds(erov)91. |
